LECAT ® is an expanded clay ball obtained by combining specially qualified clays and cooking them at 1100 degrees Celsius.
- 8-16 mm is suitable for orchids and thick-rooted plants (lemon, camquat, shrub)
- 3-8 mm is the grain size that you can use for your ornamental and saloon plants. Suitable for medium-thickness root structures. (Poinsettia, delicious monster, monstera)
- 0-3 mm should be preferred for cactus and suculent group.
LECAT® is not a fertilizer. It is completely inorganic since it is cooked at 1100 degrees Celsius. It does not contain any plant nutrients.
This varies according to plant species. Usually in ornamental and living room plants, if you have used it without washing, you can water it immediately. In the cactus and suculent groups, it is recommended to water the plant one day later.
Depending on external factors (temperature, humidity climatic conditions) and the size of your plant the irrigation periods can change. In order to determine the irrigation periods in the use of LECAT®, you can check the humidity with your pinky after the first irrigation to see if the irrigation time has come.
In grounded mixtures with LECAT ®, you can use solid fertilizer by mixing it into your soil. Also suitable for use with liquid fertilizers, which can be applied to the plant root site either in grounded mixtures or in LECAT ® plantings only.
A short wash with water can be used before first use. You can also use it directly without washing.
LECAT® has an almost endless lifespan. If you later wish to plant a different plant on the LECAT ® in your pot, you can replant it after washing.
Since LECAT® is expanded at 1100 degrees Celsius, it does not contain any microorganisms that may cause the formation of insects, fungi, molds, bacteria and weed seeds. LECAT ® gives you a hygienic production environment. But these factors can be transmitted by seedling, seedling soil, irrigation water, external environment and factors. In such cases, it is mandatory to take agricultural measures.

LECAT Block accommodates less water than other blocks due to the structure of the clay ball. (Between 15%-20%) This ratio is in the range of 60-70% in brick, 70-80% in bims block, 80-90% in gas concrete. With this aspect, because it does not keep the water in its body over the years it does not lose its feature , since its thermal conductivity coefficients are low, its insulation values are high. Sound insulation is 48.7 decibels.
It is the best plaster holder of all wall elements. Since it does not absorb water, it is not possible to crack the plaster.
Each pallet contains 12 to 15 half-products.
LECAT Block is lighter than other wall elements. It has no waste during transport and application.
The LECAT Block allows for easy wall-building thanks to its tongue-and-groove joint . It helps building a flatter wall. It reduces the use of mortar, shortens the walling time.
In landscape applications, the landscape work to be done with the LECAT clay ball should be applied correctly to half of the aesthetic appearance to eliminate the weed problem. After the cleaning of the landscape area, a waterproof cover (mattress) should be laid on it, followed by a 2 to 5 cm thick 0-3 mm LECAT clay ball, and finally a 7-10 cm thick 8-16 mm clay ball.
The fertilizer given to the area, it goes below the 8-16mm layer in the upper layer and remains above the 0-3mm layer with irrigation. The fertilizer trapped between the two layers is protected from external factors such as sun, insects, wind, etc. and it slowly dissolves and reached the plant roots at any time. In this way, root burns caused by fertilizer are prevented.
Thanks to its clay ball structure, it does not get muddy and does not damage the plant roots in contact with water because it is not acidic. It protects plant roots from extreme heat and cold with its thermal insulation feature. Due to its inorganic structure, it does not provide a feeding environment for insects. It is environmentally friendly and has an unlimited lifespan.
